April, 2022 - My lucid dreaming experiences) and my work on ALICE were highlighted on a major podcast: Are You Sleeping? (produced by Vox Media) that received millions of listens. Hosted by Kate Berlant, Comedian.
June, 2022 - Katia on Mt. Unzen with text by Germaine Shames was premiered in New York City through the Art Song Preservation Society of New York (premiered by mezzo, Madison Marie McIntosh and pianist, Shaobai Yuan)
September, 2022 - A Severed Chord with libretto by renowned actor Jeff Shankley received a concert premiere to benefit the Gray Team and is now being developed into a new opera: Delirium
January, 2023 - Listening on a text by Amy Lowell for tenor, cello, and piano was premiered at the University of Washington and Lee in Lexington VA. Commissioned and premiered by Collective Euphona, Scott Williamson, Founder.
February, 2023 - "I Love You, Stinky Face" by Lisa McCourt (over 9 million copies sold) received its musical premiere at the Barinoff Theatre in Safety Harbor, FL (sung by the amazing Kelly Balmaceda) to benefit the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Music Therapy Program.
On March 5, 2023, Katia on Mt. Unzen will receive a Chicago performance at the International Women's Day Concert in Chicago.
On April 21, 2023 - Duke University (David Heid, director) will perform A Mad Tea Party from ALICE as a staged scene.
In spring of 2023, East Chapel Hill High School (Conducted by Ryan Ellefsen) will premiere the full orchestra version of my work, La Loba
In July of 2023 - ALICE will receive its chamber orchestra premiere in Wichita Falls, TX at the Red River Lyric Opera Festival (Produced by Darla Diltz, Conducted by Kristin Roach, Directed by Grace Edgar, Choreographed by Christina Reaves).
In the spring of 2024, ALICE will receive its FULL ORCHESTRA premiere at the University of Utah (Bob Breault, director) in their beautiful, 2000-seat Kingsbury Hall.
